Yesterday Kim found a note from the builder on the door. I don't have it here to put down the actual wording, but basically it was rather cryptic. It was saying that it's really important that we contact on-site customer service so the Town of Oakville can do the "final occupancy" inspection.

Hmm... Wait a sec. "Final Occupancy"? We've been living in the house for over six months now and they want to do a final occupancy inspection? They also make it sound ("It is important that...") like we actually missed a date.

In any case, the inspection is now scheduled for Friday and I will update the blog then.
