Introduction to the Demoscene updated
I just updated my little introduction to the demoscene site at http://www.scenesight.org/ recently. It now also includes links to related events and tutorials – suggestions are very welcome.

Some demoscene folks left a good impression by presenting demoscene art at the Ars Electronica. Read their full report for more details: scene.org – ars electronica 2003.
Keep up the good work guys.
Welcome to the demoscene subsection… So this is where I intend to talk about my demoscene live, especially with relation to the commodore 64.
My c64 (PAL of course) is standing on my desk, right next to the PC I am currently typing on. Well, not quite correct. Actually the c64 is on the PAL monitor, and my laptop (folded together) is next to this keyboard here. The c64 isn’t even fully connect yet, despite of me having moved into this house back in May.
Anyways, the intentions and motivation is good, due to my group mates in Padua, our c64 demo group. We are currently (as always) working on a bunch of projects. From the past I have learned that I should not be telling too much about our projects in advance, because people will then actually expect you to finish them sometime
Let’s just say, we are working on finishing off some old stuff and creating some new ![]()
Last week, I wrote an Email to John at Digifest, Toronto’s multimedia festival. I asked him if we can continue our success of last year’s demoscene presentation I held together with Guillaume from Pseudo Interactive and MentalFloss. It would really be nice to be able to do such a presentation again.
Also I am the operater of Scenestuff.com, a site that currently sells the MindCandyDVD (also known as DemoDVD) in Canada. I have 3 or so left, and this is the end of the 5000 that were pressed by FuseCon. If there’s enough demand though, there will be a repress. I am also selling the Assembly 2002 DVD-ROMs, and I’ve got 10 left of those. I have been considering adding additional items, such as shirts, audio cds, games and maybe hardware, but I first want to expand sales to the US. You would not believe how difficult it is to calculate appropiate postage for this big continent.
Also the MindCandyDVD volume II will be released sometime next year – containing Amiga Demos. I am pretty sure I will be selling that one as well, however I don’t think I will be selling as many. I can’t wait for the c64 edition, though
